Why this exists

Lifts are everywhere in London and almost nobody outside the trade understands them. The information that does exist online is scattered, dated, or buried on corporate sites. London Lifts pulls it together in one place: how to get into the trade, what it pays, the regulations that matter, and which companies do the work across the capital and the commuter belt.

What's here

Independent and neutral

London Lifts is not owned or controlled by any lift manufacturer or trade body, and the editorial content is written to be useful to the whole industry. Core directory listings are free and ranked neutrally — a company's position in the directory can't be bought.

The site is funded by clearly labelled featured placements. Anything paid-for is always marked ("Featured" / "Paid placement") so you can tell editorial from advertising at a glance.

The guidance here is written carefully and references the relevant bodies and regulations, but it is general information, not professional, legal or safety advice. Always work from current official guidance and a competent person's assessment for any specific lift.

Want your firm in front of London's lift trade? A small number of featured directory placements and sponsor slots are available — always clearly labelled, and never affecting the neutral ranking of free listings. Email hello@londonlifts.co.uk to ask about availability.
